Cash For iPhones Review – Don’t Sell Your iPhone 3GS Until You Read This

Do you have an iPhone 3GS that you no longer want? Is it used, abused, missing parts, or even broken? Then you’re in luck- you can sell your iPhone 3GS for some fast money, and it won’t cost you a thing or take up your time.

Don’t try to sell old cell phones until you’ve read this guide. It’s extremely easy to take the wrong approach when you want to get rid of your iPhone 3GS. This can end up making you lose money, and force you waste weeks (if not months) of your precious time. That’s not even taking into account the fact that the longer it takes for you to sell your phone, the less it’s worth. Cell phone companies are trotting out newer and better models all of the time, so you should try to sell your phone as soon as you possibly can.

The wrong approach to trying to sell cell phones for cash is any approach that puts you in direct contact with your potential customers. There are a couple of reasons for this. One, unless you have marketing and advertising experience, you’re going to have a hard time enticing buyers to your phone. Two, you’re practically inviting people to haggle and argue with you, which is aggravating. Three, you’re putting your safety at risk by dealing with people you don’t know. Four, you’re not going to get paid until a buyer comes along, which can take a long time.

The funny thing is, there’s actually a huge market out there for people who want to sell old cell phones. The trick to succeeding when you sell your iPhone 3GS is that you have to know how to approach it. People are innately suspicious of second-hand goods, especially electronics. For example, the iPhone 3GS is a pretty recent model. If yours worked properly, why would you be getting rid of it? If yours doesn’t work properly, why would someone else want it?

The best way to purchase trustworthy second-hand electronics is through a used electronics website, and people know this. So, if you want to sell your iPhone 3GS, you need to work with one. This is a lot easier than it sounds- you don’t need any special connections, and you don’t have to pay any listing fees for your phone. The nearest used electronics website is just a few clicks away, and you can have an offer for your phone within seconds.

These websites work like this:

-        Someone with a used iPhone, like you, goes to their website.

-        They have a prepared list of the phones they want to buy, and what they are prepared to pay for them. You enter your phone’s information, and get a quote.

-        If you like your quote, you can request shipping for your phone. They will gladly provide you with a free box and shipping label, or just a shipping label (if you have your own box).

-        You mail your phone in. It will probably take a few days to reach its destination.

-        They receive your phone. Before they pay you, they will examine it, catalog it, and see how it compares to the information you entered to get your quote. If, for example, everything was correct, you’ll be paid what you were quoted. If your phone is missing a charger, when you originally claimed it had one, your quote will probably have to be adjusted to reflect this.

-        They contact you to let you know how everything checks out. At this point, they’ll be ready to finalize your payment. The reason they’ll pay you now, as opposed to when they find a buyer for your phone, is because they can afford to. These sites see a lot of business, so finding a buyer isn’t a problem for them. They’ll pay you up front for your phone, get it ready for resale, and then recoup their money once a buyer comes along.

-        You receive your money a few days later.

If you have an iPhone 3GS to sell, doesn’t it make sense to use a way that guarantees that you’ll get money? Contact a used electronics website, and you’ll have an easy, fast, enjoyable selling experience.

Jessica Sanchez vs. Phillip Phillips in “American Idol” Final

NEW YORK (Reuters) – He brought the “American Idol” judges to their feet, but Joshua Ledet couldn’t win over fans and was sent home from the top-rated TV talent show on Thursday, leavingJessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips to battle for the crown on next week’s finale.

The elimination of Ledet - through audience voting and not by the judges – sets up a final showdown between Sanchez and Phillips to determine who will be named the next “American Idol,” a distinction that has belonged to hitmakers such as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, among others.

Sanchez has impressed the judges from the beginning of the current season with her technical mastery of music, despite being the youngest contestant at age 16. Singer-songwriter Phillips has won plaudits for bringing his own distinctive style of guitar playing music to other artists’ songs.

The finale will consist of a two-hour performance episode on Tuesday, May 22, followed by a results episode on Wednesday, May 23. The winner will receive a recording contract.

Ledet was gracious in defeat. He closed the singing contest Thursday with his rendition of “It’s a Man’s World,” replicating one of his most popular performances of the season.

Audience voting was based on Wednesday episode that included three performance rounds of contestants singing songs chosen by the judges, then picking their own songs and finally belting out a tune chosen by mentor Jimmy Iovine for the third round.

Judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson chose Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” forLedet’s first performance.

In his feedback, Tyler predicted Ledet would win the show, but his later responses to Ledet’s other songs was not as enthusiastic.

Though Lopez praised him for communicating the meaning of the lyrics in John Lennon’s “Imagine,” Iovine thought he went a bit too far, describing his performance as “slightly overblown and over-emotional.”

Iovine then took some responsibility for what he thought was Ledet’s less-than-stellar performance of Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama,” saying that he should have chosen a song with more melody.

For her Wednesday routine, Sanchez sang Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing,” and Tyler, the rock band’s lead singer, told her “you just took a great song and made it greater.” And Iovine said it was worthy of singing at the Grammys.

Phillips’s songs included “We’ve Got Tonight,” with Iovine and Jackson agreed it was his bestperformance to date.

Thursday’s results show included performances from two artists with new albums out this week – Lisa Marie Presley and “Idol” season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert. Presley sang “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” off her album “Storm and Grace,” and Lambert did “Never Close Our Eyes” from sophomore album, “Trespassing.”

Now in its eleventh season, “Idol” continues to be the most-watched reality show in the United States. Audiences vote for their favorite performers by phone and text message each week as contestants are challenged by a variety of musical styles.

Can Google Keep their Users Loyal with Google Knowledge Graph?

On the surface, Google’s Knowledge Graph seems like just another search feature, but connect the dots and it could become the brains behind a Siri-like virtual assistant.

In a blog post, Google’s Amit Singhal dropped a strong hint that there’s more to Knowledge Graph than meets the eye:

“We’re proud of our first baby step—the Knowledge Graph—which will enable us to make search more intelligent, moving us closer to the ‘Star Trek computer’ that I’ve always dreamt of building,” Singhal wrote.

Google has used the Star Trek reference before, when discussing its approach to speech recognition in Android. Here’s Matias Duarte, in an interview with Slashgear:

“If [Siri]’s Star Wars, you have these robot personalities like C-3PO who runs around and he tries to do stuff for you, messes up and makes jokes, he’s kind of a comic relief guy. Our approach is more like Star Trek, right, starship Enterprise; every piece of computing surface, everything is voice-aware. It’s not that there’s a personality, it doesn’t have a name, it’s just ‘Computer.’”

Add these comments to the rumors that Google is building a virtual assistant codenamed Majel–named after the wife of late Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry–and it’s easy to speculate where Google is going.

Siri vs. Knowledge Graph

Unlike Android’s existing voice commands, Apple’s Siri understands language. Siri doesn’t need to rely on a rigid set of instructions (such as Android’s “Navigate to” for directions or “Listen to” for music), because it can pick out keywords from naturally-spoken phrases. That makes Apple’s system much more accessible, and Google will have to come up with something similar.

But with Knowledge Graph, Google seems to be thinking one step ahead. With any given set of keywords, Knowledge Graph tries to figure out what users actually want. The engine can figure out the most important facts about a person or place, and bring those details to the surface. When a search term has multiple meanings (such as apple the fruit or Apple the company), Knowledge Graph knows to ask what you meant. As Singal pointed out, the information Google shows for Tom Cruise answers 37 percent of the next queries people ask about him.

Google may have a better system in place for answering questions, if the company can just nail the Siri-like natural language part. Instead of simply showing a page from Yelp or Wolfram Alpha, as Siri does, Google could potentially pull in what it thinks is the most relevant information from around the Web. The company has already developed a version of Knowledge Graph for mobile devices, so the groundwork is already in place.

Of course, this is all just speculation on my part, but given Google’s high-minded thoughts on making search smarter, and the ever-increasing importance of mobile, Knowledge Graph seems likely to play a huge role in Android’s answer to Siri.

It’s called “Knowledge Graph,” and it essentially fills up the white space to the right of Google search results with a few things…

First, it gives you immediate information about your search topic, which it digs up by scanning its own data and free info sites like Wikipedia.

So if you type “Abraham Lincoln” into Google, you get some quick biographical info about his life, including a birthdate, assassination date, presidential term, spouse information and children.

Or searching for “Lincoln, Nebraska” pulls up a city map, size, local time, population, and that it’s named after Honest Abe.

The idea is that the new functionality gives you information you’re probably looking for without having to wait for a new page to load. A nice touch.

The Knowledge Graph section is also supposed to help out with ambiguous search terms…

Google’s blog post uses “Andromeda” as an example, “which could be the galaxy, the TV series, or the Swedish band. The Knowledge Graph distinguishes between each of these meanings and shows me an interactive ribbon at the top of the search results that I can swipe and tap to select just what I’m looking for.”

It’s a bright idea, since it’s never fun to have to re-enter search criteria in order to put Google on the right track.

But just from my Lincoln example above, it could use some tweaking…

Some Necessary Fine-Tuning

Based on the description of Knowledge Graph, you’d think that searching for just the word “Lincoln” should pull up a list of results to the right to clarify what you’re looking for.

In this case, we expected to at least see options for the past president and the capital of Nebraska. Instead, it offered results for the president and a movie called “Lincoln” released this year. Nothing about the city, or, sadly, the other film about him that’s scheduled to release in 2012, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.”

So, as it stands, Knowledge Graph needs some work. But to be fair, Google’s been working on this for two years, and I’m betting that it rushed its release in order to steal Microsoft’s social search thunder.

Since neither company’s new feature seems to work that well yet, only time will tell if Google succeeds in keeping search users from defecting to Bing.

Cash for iPhone Trade In

Cell phones are pretty much a requisite part of modern life. Over eighty percent of the world’s population has them, and a large percentage of those people have regular cell phone plans. These plans are a great way to save money on your phone bill, and can even get you free phone upgrades. There’s just one problem… When you get a free phone upgrade, what do you do with the phone you’ve upgraded from?

If you have an iPhone, one answer is to find an iPhone trade in. This would allow you to sell your iPhone for money off of an upgrade, or even for cash. If you do it right, you can even sell old cell phones through a trade in service.

One of the best ways to perform an iPhone trade in is to find a used electronics site that will give you cash for your old phone. Most cell phone companies aren’t interested in taking in old phones, since they make their money by selling the latest and most upgraded models. Some cell phone companies won’t even direct you to a cell phone recycling plant, let alone offer you money or a new phone in exchange for your old one! Unless you know where to look, you can have a hard time finding a place to trade in your old iPhone.

To trade in your used phone, you need to find a website that lets you sell cell phones for cash. This is pretty easy to do, especially since there’s a huge market out there for iPhones, whether they’re new or used. These websites offer people money for their cell phones, so they can then sell these iPhones to new owners. That means that they’re willing to pay you to provide them with some fresh stock, whether your phone is gently used, broken, or missing important components. This is the most straightforward way to trade in your unwanted iPhone, and it hardly takes any time or effort to do it.

To sell old cell phones through a trade in website, you first have to get a price quote. These sites should have lists of what they are willing to pay for a specific type of phone in a specific condition, so getting your quote won’t take you very long. Generally, you’ll have to fill out a very basic web form right on the website, the website will cross-reference the form with their price list, and your quote will pop up no more than thirty seconds later. At this point, the decision of whether or not to accept this quote is up to you. This gives you a chance to compare some different used phone websites, and see which one will give you a better offer if you trade in your iPhone.

After you go back to the site you prefer, you can see what your shipping options are. Usually, you’ll be able to mail your phone in for free, by requesting a free shipping label or box. Try to avoid sites that don’t pay for shipping for you, since shipping a phone through the post office can get pretty expensive. Once you get your box, you can package up your phone, charger, and any other parts or manuals that you have. Don’t worry if your phone is missing some components, since these can be replaced by the used phone company.

At this point, you just need to be patient. It will take a couple of days for your iPhone to arrive at the company, be inspected, and for them to contact you to let you know everything was okay. When  you talk to them, you’ll be able to finalize your iPhone trade in, and confirm your payment details. After that, you will be able to receive your money.

Trading in your old phone shouldn’t have to be complicated. After all, phone companies make it easy for you to upgrade to a new one every couple of years, so why shouldn’t it be easy to find a new home for your old phone? If you’ve got a working iPhone, even one that’s missing a few parts, trade it in for cash.

‘Think Like a Man’ knocks off ‘Hunger Games’ atop box office

The comedy based on a relationship advice book by Steve Harvey collects an estimated $33 million over the weekend. ‘The Lucky One,’ starring Zac Efron, brings in $22.8 million.

Moe, Larry and Curly couldn’t do it. Neither could Snow White, an army of Greek gods or a baby-faced Leonardo DiCaprio.

After four weeks, the film finally able to dethrone “The Hunger Games” at the box office was “Think Like a Man,” an ensemble relationship comedy about five ethnically diverse couples.

The movie’s success surprised many in Hollywood over the weekend, because the picture came in more than $10 million ahead of industry projections with what distributor Sony Pictures estimated to be a $33-million debut.

Heading into the weekend, the PG-13 film was expected to be in a tight race for the top spot with the romantic tear-jerker“The Lucky One.” But that film, starring Zac Efron as a Marine on a mission to track down a woman he feels protected him during war, ended up grossing $22.8 million — a respectable figure and on par with what pre-release audience surveys had suggested.

Meanwhile, the nature documentary “Chimpanzee” also had a good weekend, scoring the highest debut for Walt DisneyStudios’ Disneynature label, with $10.2 million.

Moviegoers who saw “Think Like a Man” — a largely female crowd, 62% of whom were 30 or older — loved the film, assigning it an average grade of A, according to market research firm CinemaScore. The film, which targeted an African American audience, performed well in cities such as Chicago, Atlanta and Philadelphia. However, it is unclear precisely how well the movie played with different races this weekend, because although Sony gathers that demographic information on audiences, it historically has not provided an ethnic breakdown to news media.

Rory Bruer, Sony’s distribution president, would say only “There wasn’t a group that this didn’t play well to.”

“I think there were several elements as to why the film was successful,” Bruer said, “starting with the fact that it’s hysterically funny, and people loved a humorous look at the difference between men and women.”

The strong opening for “Think Like a Man,” based on a relationship advice book by Steve Harvey, is good news for Sony’s Screen Gems label, which spent only about $13 million to produce the film. Screen Gems — which makes mostly low-budget horror, action and teen comedies — has had a good year at the box office. “Think Like a Man” marks the studio’s third No. 1 film in 2012, following the romantic drama“The Vow” and the vampire action movie “Underworld: Awakening.”

“Think Like a Man” brought in nearly as much in its opening weekend as last year’s comedy“Jumping the Broom,” which featured an African American cast, collected overall — $37 million. Its opening was also higher than a number of Tyler Perry‘s recent films, including the comedies“Madea’s Big Happy Family” and “Why Did I Get Married Too?” Both debuted with less than $30 million.

“The Lucky One’s” Efron, meanwhile, has been trying to shed his teen pinup image as he attempts to become a serious leading man. The weekend results for his latest film indicate he may be making progress with that endeavor, considering his last weepy drama “Charlie St. Cloud” opened with only $12.4 million in 2010.

Still, it was Efron’s female fan base that turned up to see the adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel; 76% of the audience was female. Roughly 56% of the crowd — which gave the movie a CinemaScore grade of B+ — said the biggest reason they went to see it was because of the 24-year-old heartthrob.

“This movie aged him up a little bit. He’s looking more like a young adult, and he’s believable in the role as a Marine,” said Jeff Goldstein, executive vice president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros., which released the film.

Warners and Village Roadshow made “The Lucky One” for about $25 million. The film’s debut was the second highest for Sparks, an adaptation of whose “Dear John” started with $30.5 million in 2010 and ended up becoming his biggest hit with a total of $80 million.

“Chimpanzee,” which shows four years in the life of a baby chimp and his family, was made by Disneynature, the division that generates inexpensive documentaries about wildlife and the environment. “Chimpanzee” was the first of the label’s four films to crack the $10-million mark in its opening weekend, beating the $8.8-million debut of “Earth” in 2009.

About 61% of those who saw the film over the weekend were families, and the audience loved the documentary, giving it an A CinemaScore. As it does with many of its nature films, Disney presold tickets to a number of groups and schools interested in seeing the film. On Friday alone, group sales receipts accounted for $365,000.

Sell iPhone 4s the Eco-Friendly Way

eco-friendlyIt isn’t common knowledge, but cell phones can pose a serious environmental threat. They’re fine when they’re in use, but discarding them poses a significant problem. The vast majority of people in the world use cell phones on a day-to-day basis. In some countries, cell phone minutes are even used as currency! That’s all well and good, but what happens when all of those billions of cell phones break, or end up outdated? Where do they go?

In developed nations, cell phones can be recycled. They go to a special plant set up to handle electronics, where they have their toxic components removed. These include screens, which usually contain mercury, and batteries, which contain cadmium or lithium. These components are broken down, and any metals that can be harvested from them are reclaimed. Then, the rest of the phone is ground into small pieces. These are passed through magnets, sieves, traps, and other things until they’re separated into metal and plastic. The metals are split up into steel, gold, aluminum, and other metals. Metals of the same type are melted down into bars for resale. Plastic chips are separated and sent to be recycled into more plastic. Anything that can’t be recycled or reclaimed is burned off. Needless to say, this takes a lot of work, a lot of power, and a lot of specialized equipment. Not every area has a recycling plant capable of doing electronics, not even in the U.S.

Most of the time, cell phones are thrown away. This means that they don’t get recycled, so they just sit around in a landfill for hundreds of years. New inventions in corn-based polymers mean that biodegradable devices might exist in the near future, but, for now, cell phones are all made of regular old plastic. They’ll take up space in a landfill for ages, while their screens and batteries leak toxic goo into the soil and water.

As an alternative, eco-minded cell phone users should sell iPhone 4s instead. These phones are still current, which means that there are plenty of people who want them. When you sell old cell phones instead of trashing them, you keep them out of landfills by prolonging their working life. It’s tempting to think of recycling as the “eco friendly” option when it comes to getting rid of your unwanted, old, or broken cell phone, but it isn’t. The greenest products are always those that are already made, not ones that are recycled. By trying to sell iPhone, you save landfill space and all of the power it takes to grind up, separate, and melt down recycled cell phone components.

Not all ways of trying to sell cell phones for cash are eco friendly, though. If you try to find a pawn shop or thrift store for your phone, you could end up wasting gallons of gas while you go from store to store looking for one to sell iPhone 4s to. The greenest way to sell your old cell phone is to do it on the internet. You can go online, find a used electronics dealer to buy your phone, and then simply mail your iPhone 4 to them. When they receive it, they’ll send your money to you. You don’t have to leave your house, so you don’t waste any gas, and your phone just gets sent in along with the regular mail. Your phone will go from the used electronics dealer to a new buyer, so it won’t end up languishing in a landfill.

Even if your phone is broken, you can sell it. It’s a common misconception that all broken cell phones are good for is recycling, but this isn’t true. You can sell a broken cell phone to a company that will refurbish it, replace the broken parts, and ready it to be resold. The only parts of your phone that will need to be thrown out or recycled will be the broken ones, which is still better than recycling your entire phone.

Trying to sell old cell phones is healthier for the environment, and it gets you money. If you’re stuck with unwanted electronics and don’t know what to do with them, don’t resort to tossing them in the garbage or shipping them off to a recycling plant.

Survey Says: Most iPhone 4S Owners Use Siri Almost Every Day!

Right after becoming the center of attraction throughout the iPhone 4S unveiling event last year, Siri is now discovered to have become much more well-liked. The new analysis that was released showed that 87 percent of customers of Apple’s iPhone 4S certainly use at least one of Siri’s characteristics and function each month. The survey also showed that Apple succeeded in selling iPhone 4S because of Siri, who is the probably the first virtual assistant in the iDevices.

The study showed that the most common Siri usage is set across a fairly restricted set of functions. This really is based on a survey by Parks Associates, to which 482 iPhone 4S owners responded. It appears Apple’s efforts of marketing Siri can be an enormous aspect in developing hype once they started out selling iPhone 4S. Apple’s virtual assistant has the capacity to carry out a number of tasks from searching for specifics, to sending a text, to schedule meetings by utilizing voice recognition. In contrast to other varieties of voice-activated services, Siri can understand natural human speech.

Even so, iPhone 4S customers proved to become a bit plain with regards to their Siri usage. Generating telephone calls and sending text-messages are some of the most frequent activities, based on the report; a sign that Siri usage is mirroring how people usually use their phones. Practically a third of 4S owners use Siri to call, send text messages, or find data on practically a day-to-day basis.

Meanwhile, a great deal of other Siri services are utilized these days. These incorporate playing music and scheduling meetings. Respectively 32 percent and 35 percent of 4S customers informed us they had in no way ever employed Siri to carry out the mentioned actions. These actions also had the lowest percentage of customers that utilized these functions on an every day basis. However, e-mail usage is fairly split with 30 percent saying they’ve never ever asked Siri to send an email while 26 percent say they use it to send e-mail day-to-day.

What is the purpose behind this? iPhone 4S customers continue to complain that Siri struggles to recognize accents and has requirements of a dead quiet atmosphere to function. These complaints had been echoed by Parks Associates, which found that the technologies stirred up robust emotions in customers; a number of which either raved about or panned Siri in anecdotal comments. The comments ranged from “best invention since sliced bread” to “it’s genuinely disappointing,” according to the report.

Some 55 percent of 4S customers stated they had been happy with Siri, 9 percent had been unsatisfied, and the rest had been somewhere in the middle. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment. Parks Associates carried out the investigation amid an expected boom in voice-activated technologies as client electronics companies make and work to broaden how their devices are employed.

John Barrett, director of customer analytics at Parks Associates, says he was shocked respondents didn’t express robust interest in Siri-like voice-based search for their television, a customer device consumers regularly complain is challenging to navigate. Meanwhile, some individuals think Siri is useless and wind up selling iPhone 4S as an alternative.

Cash For iPhones Review: When Credibility Is at Stake

good businessAccording to Wikipedia.com, credibility is the “objective and subjective components of the believability of a source or message. Traditionally, credibility has two key components: trustworthiness and expertise, which both have objective and subjective components. Trustworthiness is based more on subjective factors, but can include objective measurements such as established reliability. Expertise can be similarly subjectively perceived, but also includes relatively objective characteristics of the source or message (e.g., credentials, certification or information quality). Secondary components of credibility include source dynamism (charisma) and physical attractiveness.”

Credibility is important for a company to flourish. This is because if a company is not known and believable enough that it can do good business, then it will definitely fail in all of its goals. A company earns credibility by giving their customers the best products and services that they can offer.

This will cost them a great deal of effort, money and time. Considering all these things, a company will do all it takes to protect and maintain a good image and a respectable name.

This is precisely the reason why I do not believe that cashforiphones.com is a scam. There were recent reports saying that the site is a scam or a company that rips off money from its customers.

I believe it is downright rude to baffle people on the internet because of selfish reasons about a company that has already established itself on the market. It is really alarming that many people nowadays do not have the humility to respect rules and agreements.

I came across a discussion board about online selling and there I found several complaints about the company. This disgruntled customer said that the company took his phone and harassed him saying that they would only pay for the phone with half of its original quoted price.

When I continued reading his post, I realized that his phone was water-damaged and had several underlying problems before he sent the phone to the company. But because it was still working despite the glitches, he cited that his iPhone was in good condition.

So, the company in return, quoted a price that would compensate for a used iPhone which was in good condition.

Of course, when the company found out all the problems that the phone had, they contacted the guy and told him that they would arrange a price adjustment for the phone. They said that they would not pay the quoted price since the iPhone had too many problems.

cash for iphonesAs CashforiPhones is a refurbishing company, they will only take what good is left on the phone. If in fact the phone is only a candidate for recycling, they will, of course, pay the seller a lower price.

Because of the changes along the deal, the seller went mad and he started posting bad comments about the company which is really unfair. First and foremost, he is the one who messed up with the deal.

How? Well, he expected too much from his iPhone. He described his phone as working perfectly when it had a lot of problems. For one, a water damaged iPhone, even if it got repaired may not work the same way as before.

As a general rule, always be honest when having a business transaction. A company will only pay for something that is worth the value. It is really disheartening that people nowadays tend to become so irrational over things just because they did not get what they wanted.

In this case, the burden was self-inflicted. If only this man had stated the truth in the first place, then, he wouldn’t have so many problems or want to write hate mail about the company. I still believe that the company did the right thing.
